Any standard velocity ammo will be subsonic in your pistol length barrel. My favorite ammo for use with my suppressors is CCI Standard Velocity This has far better energy output then what you are using and with a supressor it may not be as quiet as your CBs as there is more gas so more 'POP' but it cycles 100% and it is relatively clean too. Now, with a longer barrel on a hot day every now and then I will get one of these that will be supersonic and crack. It's not an issue with pistols but out of a 16.5-inch 10/22 on a hot day I may get say 1 or 2 supersonic cracks out of say 100 rounds (1 - 2%) but other then summer it isn't an issue. In testing with my 22/45, there IS a difference in sound levels between sonic & subsonic with the suppressor mounted, but not enough for me to bother buying subsonics.

In my case, it's barely noticeable. As mentioned above, out of that barrel length they're ALL subsonic, and shooting regular standard, high, or hyper velocity loads cycles the action reliably. PMC load would not cycle, Remington load did.

OP is looking at the euro spec not the U.K. Spec so DAB may not be included. Dab can be added with varying results, an aftermarket unit will probably work better than trying to add an oem uk spec dab. Most aftermarket units utilise a window mount dab ariel that may need grounding and powering. The best dab ariel to add run inside a bumper but are costly. A pioneer avic f77 or 88 work well with their supplied DAB ariel. With all the kit to make it work (CANbus and steering wheel controls, facias, ariel adapter, etc) and the head unit itself you are looking towards 1000-1500 quid if you do it yourself.

Feed this through into the dash area once connected the replace the trim Secondly Open the glove box fully, then remove the lower bottle holder trim. It just pulls away from the top. Set this aside and remove the screw to the left. Next pull the door rubber off the frame so that you can then pull away the dash side trim. Then carefully prise the heater control surround off and unplug the 12v socket.

Now you can mount the DabMotion unit. I just cable tied it to the dash support structure. Plug in all if your cables to the unit.

You need to add a flying lead to this after the fuseholder so that you can supply the splitter. Connect that up, then cable tie the splitter to the long stud that pokes out off of the A pillar under the dash top. Next, route the supply cable over the heater unit, cable tie it to the mesh section above the pollen filter.

Cable will exit the 12v socket hole I just connected my cable to the terminals in the socket plug. This is a timed supply, so it won't kill the battery. If you have the overhead console, the remote fits nicely into the side. Job done, takes less than an hour. Transit Aficionado Posts: 284 Joined: Thu Dec 30, 2010 8:19 pm Location: Hertfordshire.
