We have a particular love for the people of Southwest Virginia so when we saw that a phenom was coming out of Gate City (population 2,034), it caught our attention immediately. We weren’t expecting Mac McClung. He’s listed at 6-2 but looks shorter. He looks like a fairly typical kid from Southwest Virginia but his vertical (47”) may be higher than Zion Williamson’s.
